Cycling history

Have you done any long distance trips?

No

Where have you cycled?

Korea, China, Nepal, Thailand — mostly just recreational cycling during time off from work, including trips through the Thai countryside with Burmese and other local kids. I love to ride off-road from village to village through paddy fields, over hills, and along rivers.

Where are you now?

China

Gear

What bike(s) do you have?

I ride just anything nowadays although I have owned at least 4 dozen bikes over the past 15 years. I have had so many stolen here in Chengdu that I now just ride an ordinary steel-framed Giant bike around town. I’ll probably ride the same for a planned 9,000 km ride through India beginning late in 2011.
